Project: Improving leadership to improve student learning

Role: Coach, facilitator, developer

Description of responsibilities: Design and deliver a range of tailor made interventions to develop school performance. 


Project: The Treaty meets the United Nations Convention

Client: CCS Disability Action

Location: Wellington Branch and National Office

Year: 2010

Role: Training developer, trainer

Description of responsibilities: Developing and delivering a workshop to develop staff capability in founding their work from the two of the organisation's key documents - The Treaty of Waitangi and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Disabled Persons.


Project: Healthy Organisation

Client: The National Collective of Independent Womens RefugesLocation: Wellington

Year: 2010

Duration: Six months

Role: Reviewer, advisor

Description of responsibilities: Engaging with the Movement to develop a strategy for organisational strengthening and developing internal culture.'


Project: Scenic Training

Client: Horowhenua College

Location: Levin

Description of responsibilities: Mentoring a Young Enterprise Scheme student business group as they navigate their way to bringing their upbeat scenic exercise DVD to life under the guidance of managing director Alivya Clarke.


Project: Experienced Principal Development

Client: Auckland University College of Educational Leadership

Location: Auckland

Year: 2010

Duration: The year

Role: Coach, Professional learning group facilitator

Description of responsibilities: Providing the coaching element of the EPD@AUCOL programme which is developing experienced school principals in the greater Auckland area on contract to the Ministry of Education.


Project: Review of the Family Safety Team Initiative

Client: NZ Police

Location: Wellington

Year: 2009

Duration: August - December

Role: Reviewer

Description of responsibilities: Conducted a national review of the Family Safety Team initiative operating in six high areas around the country recognised as having high levels of family violence.


Project: Governance and Management Training

Client: National Collective of Independent Womens Refuges

Location: Country wide

Year: 2009

Duration: Intermittent

Role: Training designer, Trainer, Co-trainer

Description of responsibilities:Developing and delivering G&M training to a wide range of Refuges throughout the country.


Project: National Taskforce for Action on Family Violence

Client: Ministry of Social Development

Location: Wellington

Year: 2008

Duration: Two national meetings

Role: Facilitator, Co-facilitator

Description of responsibilities: Plan and facilitate Taskforce meetings to review effectiveness and develop strategic priorities for the Ongoing Programme of Action for addressing family violence in NZ - It's not ok.


Project: Organisation Strengthening

Client: Northpine Ltd

Location: Waipu and Auckland

Year: Twelve months (ongoing)

Duration: Two national meetings

Role: Trainer, coach

Description of responsibilities: Working to the strategic growth plan developed by the co-owners, I work to the General Manager in developing and driving The People Plan. Developing leadership and effective teamwork at all levels of the business and between sites has been the first priority. Developing more effective interactions, communication and a culture of achievment see us coaching leaders, rolling out company wide training and working 1:1 with leaders.
